9/6/26
This Tuesday, we had a great under 18s session.
We had some fresh faces, which is always goodto see! And once Introductions were made, we got to work.
First we began with a new project, building a beat from scratch.
A great thing about the u18s is that, with help from our in house engineer M.Yesekaon, not only do you get to see the making progress happen, but you get to learn how to do it yourself.
In addition to enhancing your music, you broaden your skill set too.
Then we moved on to a more chaotic situation.
One of our artists came in with a very specific vision. So detailed that building the track was a challenge to say the least.
And sometimes the challenge is the most fun part, trying to find that sound, share your vision.
But an important thing to remember is that you can’t always have perfection. So have fun with it, but don’t let it take the enjoyment out of what you love.
Finally we ended by re-thinking a previous idea, and tried something new.
Instead of singing this artist decided to rap.
Whether you’re a singer, rapper, or something else entirely, moving out of your comfort zone can be difficult. And to try something new can be intimidating. But who knows, that something new could be the thing you’ve been looking for the entire time!
Don’t forget we aren’t on next week 16/06/26
But we will be back 23/06/26
Big love, and don’t forget that you’re always welcome!
