Sometimes the best conversations happen after the session.

We’re playing a bit of catch up on the blog because things have been moving fast, as usual. Last week at our penultimate Monday Club, we were down a key member as Kene took a well deserved holiday. Probably the first proper break in a long time, so no complaints there.

Monday Club Season 5, Week 4 rolled around this week, and while the plan was to finally lock in the hook, things took a slightly different direction. A couple of our resident hook writers couldn't make the session, and voting on a chorus without everybody's input didn't feel quite right. So rather than force it, we followed where the conversation took us.

This week at Monday Club, we tried something a little different.

This week's U18 session felt a little different.

On the 27th of May, we packed up and headed over to Caernarfon with a crew from our Artist Development Programme for an Anthem Showcase.

Once again, we’re back with Monday Club Season 5, and this week’s session landed right in the middle of a scorching Bank Holiday Monday. Heatwave or not, the grind never stops.

This week I went behind the scenes at Creu Conwy with UAM’s Creative Operations Director, Kene Clayton, to see what it takes to keep organisations like UAM afloat.

This week was a busy one at our U18s.

This week saw the start of the 5th round of Monday Club, which honestly feels a bit mad to say out loud. We’ve got some real veterans at UAM now, people who’ve been building confidence, sharpening their craft, and growing alongside the movement week after week.
