This week, Kene and I took a trip to the diverse wales event in Venue Cymru.
The room was filled with like minded individuals, dedicated to diversifying north wales.
There was so many organisations that we wouldn’t have known about if we weren’t in the room. And that’s why it’s so important to make these connections. If you aren’t in the room you aren’t part of the conversation.
Networking is a big part of running a not for profit. If you don’t have the the right connections, building these bright ideas all by yourself is near impossible. Community is a huge aspect of getting ahead. Having the right people to surround you, support you, and to aid your vision, is key to success.
The more I learn, the more my respect for the people who run these organisations grows.
So big shout out to everyone who helps uam stay the incredible place it is!
And thank you to everyone at the event, you’re all changing the world for the better!
